I’m Kandace Cain Rather. I spend my life as a dedicated advocate for individuals seeking greater harmony within themselves and their relationships. As a trained mediator for the state of Missouri, I expertly apply conflict resolution skills to help individuals, couples, and groups cultivate healthy and nurturing connections.

 

My practice is informed by comprehensive training in Narrative Focused Trauma Care, traumatic grief and loss, and Internal Family Systems. This array of training and experience allows me to provide personalized tools and resources. Sessions with you are guided by an exploration of your pain points, desires, and goals.

 

My personal healing journey has involved understanding my patterns and the stories that shaped me. Through deep kindness, curiosity, and compassion, my heart found healing in unexpected ways. Now, I cherish the opportunity to witness similar transformations in the hearts of those I work with.

 

Beyond my coaching business, I am pursuing my LCSW at Pittsburg State University. I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music, and embracing the beauty of wide-open outdoor spaces. My ideal living situation would be a houseboat with good Wi-Fi, enabling me to connect with clients via Zoom or even on the water!
