About Me

I’m Patria, a lifelong seeker of beauty hidden within life’s broken places. As a lover of relational connection, I cherish spaces where vulnerability and truth can breathe freely. My own journey through loss, healing, and rediscovery fuels my passion for creating places where others feel seen, safe, and valued just as they are.

I’m the grateful founder of The Broken and Beautiful, a collective of gifted people who are also hunters of beauty, meaning and transformation. I’m a coach who focuses on how past harm affects us today. Drawing on my background in clinical nursing, ministry, coaching, teaching, and spiritual formation, I guide individuals and groups toward deeper understanding of themselves and their stories. My work integrates practices like the Enneagram, exploration of harm and heartache through Narrative Focused Trauma Care®, also known as Storywork, and gentle embodiment practices. As an Enneagram 9, I have an innate ability to see deeply into your gifts. One of my favorite things is to help you see them, too.

I believe every person carries both brokenness and beauty. Brokenness doesn’t mean that we’re lacking something or defective. It simply means that we are affected by harm and heartbreak because we’re human. The beauty of healing comes not in erasing our wounds, but in discovering the strength and wisdom they hold.

My joy is to nurture spaces—both in-person and virtually—where people can reclaim their stories, restore connection, and flourish in hope and wholeness. When we own and name our reality, we can reclaim our purpose and meaning!
